Rosbon Company Limited ("Rosbon", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have. It applies to rosbon.com.ng and to enquiries and orders you place with us through WhatsApp, phone or email.

1. Who we are

Rosbon Company Limited is a Nigerian mobility, logistics and vehicle-security company providing GPS vehicle tracking, delivery and logistics (Rosbon Waka), brand-new Keke Napep tricycle sales and hire purchase, and genuine spare parts.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us or engage a service, you may give us your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, your message or enquiry, delivery pickup and destination details, and — for hire purchase or daily hire — identity, guarantor and KYC details needed to complete an agreement.

Information stored in your browser

Our suggestion form on the home page saves what you type into your own browser's local storage. It is not transmitted to us — it stays on your device until it is cleared. If you use the form expecting a reply, please also contact us on WhatsApp or by phone.

We also store your light/dark theme preference in local storage so the site opens the way you left it.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not currently use analytics software.

3. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and provide quotes
• To arrange and deliver the services you request — logistics, tracking installation, vehicle sales, hire purchase or parts
• To assess and administer hire purchase and daily hire arrangements, including guarantor verification
• To keep records of agreements, payments and installations
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations
• To protect against fraud, misuse and security threats

4. Our lawful basis

We process personal information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Depending on the situation, we rely on your consent (for example when you message us), the performance of a contract (delivering a service you have ordered), our legitimate interests (running and securing our business), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage for two things only: your theme preference, and the suggestion form described above. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings, which will reset the site to its default appearance.

6. Third-party services

Some parts of our site rely on other providers. When you use them, your information is handled under their own privacy policies:

• WhatsApp (Meta) — when you tap a WhatsApp button, the conversation happens on Meta's platform.
• Google Fonts — we load typefaces from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• unpkg (CDN) — we load an icon library from this content delivery network, which also receives your IP address.
• Web hosting — our site is served by a third-party hosting provider which processes server logs on our behalf.

7. Vehicle tracking data

Our GPS tracking service is a product we supply to you. Where we install a tracking device on a vehicle you own or operate, we process the resulting location and vehicle data on your instructions and for the purpose of providing that service. That data belongs to you, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. This website itself does not collect your location.

8. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary: with service providers who help us operate (such as our hosting provider), with guarantors, insurers or payment channels involved in an agreement you have entered into, or where we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your request, and agreement, payment and installation records for as long as required to administer the arrangement and to satisfy legal, tax and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or securely dispose of it.

10. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where we rely on it
• Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to staff and partners who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

12. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
